Lenten Mission in English with Fr. Jason Smith, LC

ABOUT THE MISSION PREACHER

Fr. Jason Smith was ordained at St. Mary Major in Rome on December 23, 2006.

After ordination, he dedicated six years to youth work in the New York region. In recent years, he served as the local director of Regnum Christi in New York. He enjoyed serving as parochial vicar at the historic Basilica of St Patrick’s Old Cathedral in lower Manhattan. In the summer of 2021, Fr. Jason became the superior of Michigan’s Legionary of Christ community.

Fr. Jason enjoys baseball, photography, running, and strong coffee. His younger brother, Fr. Aaron Smith, is also a Legionary of Christ priest.
