Veterans Appreciation Dinner

The Knights of Columbus are hosting a Veterans Appreciation Dinner this Sunday, November 9, from 6-8:30 pm at the St. Andrew Discipleship Center. It’s a free evening to honor veterans, active duty members, and their families, with an inspiring talk from Colonel Brian R. Hildebrand, an Army veteran. Bring your family for a wonderful meal, community, and a chance to salute those who’ve served. If you plan to attend, please register here to assist with food planning.


Donate Hygiene Products to Support Local Veterans
All guests are invited to bring body wash bottles, deodorant, shaving cream, and toothpaste to support local veterans at Tunnel to Towers Veterans Villages.
Items will be collected at the door and distributed on Veterans Day, Monday, November 10th.

Guest Speaker: Colonel Brian R. Hildebrand

Colonel Brian R. Hildebrand, a native of Houston, Texas, has served with distinction in the Texas Army National Guard since 2000. A graduate of the University of St. Thomas and Norwich University, COL Hildebrand has held numerous leadership roles, including multiple deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Guardian Support, and international peacekeeping in the Sinai. He currently serves as Commander of the 36th Division Artillery and Chief of Staff for Joint Task Force Lone Star.

Throughout his career, COL Hildebrand has earned numerous military honors, including the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Iraqi Campaign Medal with two campaign stars. He is also a published author in Military Review, writing on leadership, strategy, and emerging military domains.

COL Hildebrand lives in Katy, Texas, with his wife Cathy and their three children: Samuel, Olivia, and Henry.
