Rest on the Journey: A Young Adult Event with the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage

All young adults (ages 18-39) in the Houston area are invited to join us for an afternoon with the National Eucharistic Pilgrims on the St. Juan Diego Route. There is a group of 12 young adult pilgrims who will be traveling with the Eucharist from Brownsville, TX, to Indianapolis, IN, leading up to the National Eucharistic Congress this July. Join us on June 1 at the University of St. Thomas as we spend an afternoon with these pilgrims to offer some rest on the journey from 12:30-4:30 pm.

The event will include lunch followed by some time for rest and recreation (options available for games, crafts, faith-sharing, swimming, and sand volleyball). The time will close with a Eucharistic Liturgy of the Hours and Eucharistic Procession on campus starting at 3:30 pm*. All attendees are asked to register for this event by May 27 ($5 late fee added after this date). The cost to attend is $10, which includes lunch.

*Due to Safe Environment policies, we are not able to allow any minors to attend the first part of this event from 12:30-3:30 pm. Families with minors are welcome to join for the Eucharistic Liturgy of the Hours and Eucharistic Procession at St. Basil Chapel starting at 3:30 pm. There is no cost to attend the closing liturgy.
