About
High School Confirmation at Prince of Peace is a two-year formation journey designed to help teens encounter Christ, prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, and live as His disciples.
Using LifeTeen
Each formation night includes engaging Catholic teaching, community, prayer, and consistent small groups. As Prince of Peace adopts the Life Teen formation model, Confirmation preparation will no longer be divided into traditional Year 1 and Year 2 classes. Instead, all teens will participate in one of two alternating formation cycles, Cycle A and Cycle B. Teens may begin with either cycle and complete the other during their second year of formation. For 2026–2027, the program will follow Cycle A.
Who Is Eligible
High School Confirmation is open to students in grades 9–12 who have been baptized and received First Communion. Participation in Youth Group is encouraged but is not required to register for Confirmation.
Our Meetings
Formation nights are held on scheduled Wednesdays from 7:30–8:30 p.m. in the St. Andrew Discipleship Center, beginning September 16, 2026.

High School Confirmation Enrollment Steps
Register your teen for Confirmation
Just as children attend school each year, regular participation in Youth Group can help encourage and reinforce the faith formation they receive at home. Participation in Youth Group is encouraged but is not required to register for Confirmation.
To register your child for Confirmation, please email Youth@POPHouston.org.
Submit a copy of your child’s baptismal certificate.
If your child was baptized at Prince of Peace, mark that on the confirmation registration form.
If your child was not baptized at Prince of Peace, you may upload a copy of your child’s baptismal certificate in the confirmation registration form or upload a copy by clicking the button below.
