Expectations

Students are expected to come on time every week with their necessary supplies.

Parents are expected to come every week either as a volunteer or as a participant in our weekly Parent Cafe Session.

Weekly Parent Cafe Sessions

Because our Catholic faith is best learned and practiced within families, the Church calls parents to be the first and most important teachers of their children.

To help parents teach the faith to their children, we offer weekly Parent Cafe Sessions, a time when parents can learn how to pass on their faith to their children through presentations, small group discussions, as well as take-home resources.

It is our hope that our Parent Cafe sessions can address the decades of large numbers of young people leaving the faith (see statistics here).

If you have a conflict that prevents you from attending Parent Cafe sessions, please contact the appropriate staff member or volunteer to discuss other options.

Sacrament Preparation Information
  • If your child is 6 years old and under and hasn’t been baptized yet, click here.
  • If your child is 7 years old and older and hasn’t been baptized yet, click here.
  • If your child hasn’t received first eucharist yet, click here.
Elevate: Monthly Holy Hour

Each month, we have Elevate, a family-friendly holy hour where parents with young children are always welcome to experience Eucharistic Adoration.

The first half of the evening will be filled with live worship music followed by a reflection and times of silence.

Stay for all or part of the hour that you and your family can handle!

Please see the Elevate schedule here.

Who Can Serve

Anyone who is passionate about working with young people, upholds Catholic teachings, and is willing to serve as a positive role model.

What We Do

We engage in organizing and leading activities such as retreats, social events, faith formation sessions, and service projects to support the spiritual growth, provide guidance, and foster a sense of community among the youth.

When We Volunteer

We volunteer every week during our youth nights, at weekend retreats, and at other important youth events.

Why You Should Serve

To share their Catholic faith, mentor young individuals, create a sense of belonging, and help them grow in their relationship with God and the Church.

Safe Environment Training

If you are 18 years old and above, our archdiocese requires all adult volunteers to complete safe environment training.

This short one-hour online training teaches people how to create a secure and protected environment for everyone, especially children, by recognizing and preventing potential risks or harm.
