Walking with Moms Project

About

We focus on mothers in need along with their unborn and already-born children. We identify resources available to them and spread the message of why and how others can compassionately and generously help these mothers in need.

Who Can Serve

Those who are interested in loving and supporting pregnant mothers and mothers of young children who find themselves in challenging circumstances, often without a support system around them.

What Volunteers Do

We identify resources available to them and spread the message of why and how others can compassionately and generously help these mothers in need.

  • We identify the needs of expectant and parenting mothers in our area.
  • We educate parishioners and offer opportunities to support these mothers and their family.
  • We especially support the Prince of Peace Gabriel Project.
When We Serve

The first Wednesday of each month. Meeting locations vary.

Why You Should Serve

Because you will compassionately support expectant mothers in need, providing practical assistance, emotional support, and resources, while upholding the sanctity of life and fostering a culture of love and solidarity within the community.

Required Safe Environment Training

If you are 18 years old and above, our archdiocese requires all adult volunteers to complete safe environment training.

This short one-hour online training teaches people how to create a secure and protected environment for everyone, especially children, by recognizing and preventing potential risks or harm.
